Manaras, a division of Somfy International, recently expanded their Opera line with the addition of their new heavy-duty jackshaft operator, the Opera-HJ.

This operator is designed especially for the motorization of grilles when an emergency egress is required. The unit incorporates both a Hoist-a-Matic automatic chain hoist and a floor level disconnect.

Standard with this model is the Electronic Control Board and its Door Lock Sensor function, which prevents any damages to the door when the lock hasn't been removed prior to electrical operation. There is no need for external interlock wiring.

All the exclusive Opera features, which make installation and maintenance easier, quicker and safer, are also included in the Opera-HJ.
